Saw and advertisement today for Fuego parts for sale plus R12 Gordini engine.
Phoned friend who won many Rally Championships in factory R12 Gordini and now has a beautiful replica -photo below.
Subsequently engine is very similar to R12 Gordini but comes from an English
import Fuego.
Will probably go with friend to have a look at Fuego parts
These were taken at Caversham Race Track Western Australia in November last year at a meeting of drivers who raced there prior to it closing.

Spoke to guy who advertised today- he has a number of Fuegos-
One -a daily driver
Two - in middle of resto
Three- another he bought for parts
Four- the 1647 cc he imported but needed fair bit of work. It has sunshine roof.

Will be having a look in few weeks time- only just over 100k from my place.
