cold weather and snow are the norm here, odd that it would be on the TV news over there.   What was unusual was the 10C we had yesterday.  Back to normal today (about -12C).

more fun having the trip computer in the Fuego tell me it was -0F    supose that's colder than 0? heh

At the moment some parts of Australia are experiencing temps in the high 40ēC and the worst bushfires ever in Australia and as bad as anything else in the world.
Over 200 lives lost and still counting.

In other parts areas the size of Western Europe are flooded (Queensland)

Just noticed wild storm back in Europe and Paris closes airports for first time in 34 years.

what's interesting is that where I am, everything has been average.  one day in Feb it was warmer than usual and one day in Jan it was colder than usual...    other than that boring ole average.

had better picts from 2005...  can't find 'em here at work.

winter '06/'07

Early spring '05

in any case mid Feb the snow piles all end up being the same size in the 5 years I've lived here...
